Chapter 1 Know Who You Are to Manifest Your Best!
WE are DIVINE! Yes, Divine creatures who can create, manifest, form something from nothing! Give me some examples you say? OK, let's start with Jesus. (There are many more examples from various religions and philosophies in the book.)
Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding feast.
He created an abundance of food for a hungry crowd.
He manifested 153 fish in the net of his disciples.
He brought Lazarus back to life after many days.
He healed the blind, lame, and mentally & spiritually impaired.
Next you'll say, "But HE was the Son of God!" And so are we sons and daughters of the Creator! In Luke 17:21 (KJV) Jesus told the Pharisees that they should not look with their eyes for the kingdom of heaven "...for, behold, the kingdom of heaven is within." The Gnostic Gospels attribute similar words to Jesus in verse 3 of the Gospel of Thomas, "...the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty." (Thomas O. Lambdin translation)
Buddha said, “The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart.” The message, of course, is to look within yourself. Many throughout history have shown us personal Divinity in action: manifestation, creation, miracles. It is written that Buddha instantly tamed an elephant that was about to trample a child. He made tainted water pure, and manifested a bridge in the sky, then walked on it for a week! The list of the miracles of Buddha is long and incredible. Take the time to read about his and others' miracles of manifestation to help give you a sense of your own Divinity. Many great philosophers and gurus have shown us the path to blessings. The first stepping stone on that path is understanding that we are Divine beings. To perform in that Divine mode, we have to know and understand first who we are--WE ARE DIVINE! You've got the idea! I will expand on this more in my book without getting religious. Truth is, we need to set religion aside if we are to manifest peacefully.
